by car

From downtown, drive east along Sherbrooke Street. Turn left on Saint-Denis. Rachel is the sixth light and we are right before the next corner (Marie-Anne). Parking in the Plateau is always an adventure but there is a conveniently located parking lot on Drolet just north of Marianne (look for the P on the map at right) with a flat rate of $6 per evening. Keep in mind that there is no left turn onto Mont-Royal from Saint-Denis.

by metro

Take the orange line north from Berri-UQAM to Mont-Royal Station. The exit leads on to Mont-Royal Avenue, hang a left, walk one block to Saint-Denis. Turn left again and you'll find us just past Marie-Anne on the left hand side. If the weather's good, take the slightly longer, scenic route. Get off one stop earlier, at Sherbrooke Station, take a right upon leaving the building and another right once you're on Saint-Denis. You'll find us after Rachel Street on the right hand side. The walk will take you along one of Montreal's best people-watching strips.

It's an interesting half-hour stroll from downtown, with unlimited routes that take you through the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal.
